This time of year 2 years ago I was busting my butt working on my entry to the NYX Face Awards. I made it to the Top 6 where I was flown to LA to compete with 5 other talented artists. The $10,000 I won is kept safely in a bank. I learned a lot about myself and about the industry and am thankful for the friendships I gained. To everyone entering this year, do everything you can to stand out. Offer your heart and mind, not a re-creation of someone else's.
